A life story breaking free from the daily grind, the never-ending stress, and the soul-sucking routines…

Hi there ! My name is Anne-Sophie, I am the founder of Narasimha Ayurveda and a certified Ayurvedic Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach. I offer in-person and online coaching programs and bodywork. I am currently based in Oslo, Norway.

My Vedic journey started in 2010 when I was practising as a lawyer in London. Tired of feeling drained I needed something to revive my soul. I discovered Yoga and then later on, its sister science, Ayurveda. In 2017, I embarked on a bachelor in Ayurvedic Studies at Delight Academy in Amsterdam. As I delved deeper into Ayurvedic studies, I discovered the power of Ayurvedic lifestyle and nutrition. It was like discovering a hidden treasure chest of subtle yet transformative practices. My life took a new turn: I became a mom and packed my bags for the beautiful land of Norway!

Embracing this new chapter, I decided to carve my own path and establish my practice. Because Ayurveda had given me so much already I wanted to spread the love and wisdom of Ayurveda in Norway and beyond. I want to ignite that spark within each of us and help you thrive in your unique way.

READY TO EMBARK ON THIS WILD WONDERFUL JOURNEY WITH ME?

About my inspiring teachers and mentors, the authenticity of their lineage and my personal relationship with Ayurveda…

In my years of studies and practice I’ve been taught and mentored by exceptional Ayurvedic Vaidyas (traditional practitioners of Ayurveda) including Dr Vasant Lad, Dr Vijith Sasidhar, Dr Alaknanda Rao and Dr Shaileh Muli. Through their impeccable lineage and teachings at the heart of the ancient scriptures I have developed an authentic understanding of this timeless wisdom.

Without changing the essence of the ancient scriptures I like to apply a modern and western twist to make the knowledge more accessible and digestible. Ayurveda has taught me the art of moderation and personalised well-being.

When we go to extremes (like adopting a restrictive diet or a running marathon) we do not invite slow and gentle changes that will make a difference in the long run, we rather make the pendulum swing even wider. Moderation is the key aspect of my practice, it can be related to the word ‘Sattva’ in Sanskrit which refers to harmonious, balanced and serene qualities.

About
Narasimha…

Narasimha is Vedic deity, the fourth avatar, or incarnation, of Lord Vishnu that was brought to my attention by my vedic astrologer and teacher. This half-man, half-lion when worshipped can bring protection and courage, it particularly transforms the angry energy of the planet Mars into righteousness.
